About me
Who am I?
Hello! I’m Adrian Polit Diago, a backend engineer from Valencia, Spain.
I started my career in IT by completing a Multiplatform App Development vocational program, which gave me the foundation to kickstart my career in backend development.
Since then, I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, both professional and personal. I’ve worked at companies of all sizes, and I’ve tried to learn something from every place I’ve worked.
I really enjoy pair programming, working as part of a team, and building robust, high-performance systems. It’s a strangely satisfying feeling to know that something you’ve built might still be running years after you’ve moved on.
Behind the code

I spend my days living with my fiancée and our lovely dog, Lluna.
Like most working adults, I try to make time to spend with friends, stay in touch with my loved ones, and enjoy life outside of work.
Simply put, I’m a geek. I also enjoy picking up new hobbies, and I’m a bit of a “jack of all trades, master of none”, so the list is long… and it keeps getting longer.
Sports?
Yup, quite a few: swimming, kendo, CrossFit, taekwondo, airsoft, regular gym…
Books?
Yup and yup. I love reading fantasy, and I’m up to date with Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere. I’m currently making my way through Robin Hobb’s The Realm of the Elderlings!.
Gaming?
Not much time for it these days, but I still try to play a little every day. I love automation and resource management games (yeah, what a surprise, right?), and I also enjoy MOBAs, MMOs, and roguelikes.
Programming for fun?
Yup. Every time I find myself solving the same problem repeatedly, I usually take the meme route: “Don’t spend five minutes on a task you could automate in two months.” You can check some of those projects here.
DnD, roleplaying, and other tabletop games?
You can bet your ass.
Painting miniatures?
You’re still not seeing the full picture, are you…?
At this point, you’re probably starting to see the pattern. Or, as we say in Spanish, I’m a bit of a “culo inquieto”. Whenever something catches my interest, I can’t help but dive deep into it.
